Your Guy is Reading Male Personals

February 20, 2001

Hi,

I am a 23 year old female and I am living with my 31 year old boyfriend who I have been seeing now for 2 years. Today, I found out that he was looking up'male looking for male' personals on the computer while I wasn't home. I am finding this very disturbing and I am unsure what this means.

Do you think that he is questioning his sexuality? He says that he is happy with me. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I will be able to continue my relationship with him if deep down he wants other men!

Please help me.

Your Hubbie is Having a Mid-Life Crisis

August 2, 2005

I need your advice. My husband and I have been separated for two months. Although he claims it is over, he calls me 2 times a day. He wants to 'celebrate' our 24th wedding anniversary.

I keep telling him no, but he continues to call regularly. We have 3 girls, 21, 18 and 14. He claims that if I don't include him in things that it is my fault the family will not be able to transition into our 'new family' situation. . .

He has told me he is depressed, but won't take meds. What do I do?

Your Husband Has No Follow-Through

January 7, 2002

I've been married for a year and a half now. I love my husband dearly, but he has one major flaw that makes me wonder if it will last. He has no follow-through.

When we got married he left college to move up by me. He promised that after we got married that he would return to school. He has yet to do so. He had an opportunity through work to take free online classes. He did sign up and promised to take the classes at least three days a week. He hasn't done any of them for over a month.

Your Husband is Immature

Dr. Love,

My husband and I often get short tempered and snappy at each other. He can be very immature and It annoys me to the point that I just don't want to deal with him. Some of his behaviors involve meowing in public, screaming at me while I'm driving and humming the theme song to his favorite television show (Only the first 3 measures) over and over again.

May 5, 2003

I fell in love with a man who was not a perfect angel but was trying to change his ways. My mother absolutely hated him and for two years tried to destroy it.

He finally asked me to marry him and gave me a ring. I said yes but my mother went crazy until the final result was me breaking up with him.

I am so depressed and bitter. He now wants to get back together after 7 months being split up. My mother will go crazy. I guess you can say she's used to controlling me.

I should mention that I am 33 years old.

Your Parents are Demanding that You Lose Touch with a Great Guy

December 30, 2002

Hi,

I'm really looking for some answers right now. Here's my situation. I'm 17 a junior in High School. I just recently entered a relationship with an 18 year old. He's out of high school and is in the military.

My parents have banned me from ANY contact with him because they don't think it's right for us to have a relationship. All I ask is for us to be able to keep in touch. They wont consider it because they think that there is a huge possibility that he will end up making bad decisions about his life and job in the future for me.
