Dear Dr. Turndorf,

I need your help I have really messed up a good thing. I have been with my current boyfriend for 3 and a 1/2 yrs. He is in the military and I met him when I had a brother in the military who passed away suddenly.

I was in a bad marriage and had filed for divorce. Well anyways, 18 months ago I followed my boyfriend to Maryland. I'm from Vermont I love this man with my heart and soul.

I feel very confused, hurt and betrayed. I have been friends with a young man ever since I was 15 years old (I am now 24) and he is someone I truly care about, like a brother. I thought I could confide in him and that he would support me and try to understand whatever decisions I make.

My ex-boyfriend keeps calling me off and on, very infrequently and he always want to have phone sex? I was with him for 11 years and he left me in 98 and still keeps calling me and calling. I still have feelings for him and can't seem to get over him.

I want to get over him and move on with my life!!!!

I have a very important question and I hope you answer it because it is bothering me really bad.

Ok me and my boyfriend have been going out for a while, about 4 months. My friends have been telling me that he has been saying that he really doesn't like me and that I am ok but he doesn't really like me.

I really love him and I don't want to break up with him at all. . I asked him about it and he said it's not true. I want to believe him but I really trust my friends. I just don't know what to do.
