Answer

I understand that your question to me is about how you can maintain your erection when you use condoms. You are using condoms, I presume, because you believe that your wife is menstruating once again and therefore capable of becoming pregnant. I am not convinced that this is so.

You say that she went through menopause a couple of years ago and that her periods have returned since she has begun hormone replacement therapy. If she actually completed menopause (this can be confirmed by blood tests), then it would be impossible for her periods to return.

I have to wonder if she is experiencing spotting, which can be the result of improperly regulated hormones and/or hormone imbalances. This type of bleeding isn't menstruation.

In any case, it should be checked out since bleeding isn't supposed to happen after menopause. Postmenopausal women can also bleed due to vaginal atrophy and tissue erosion, which is common after menopause.

There are still other reasons for vaginal bleeding and all of the possible causes need to be checked out. Your wife needs to see her gynecologist right away in order to determine the cause of the bleeding. The gynecologist will take blood tests and perhaps saliva samples in order to determine what is going on. I highly doubt that the blood your wife is producing is menstrual blood.

Once the blood tests confirm that your wife has completed menopause, you won't need to worry about the condoms after all. So find out the real cause of the bleeding and fix it so that you can get down to business as usual, without the condom.
