I have been exercising for quite some time now, and I have noticed that my sexual drive has increased tremendously. Is there a correlation between exercising and the sexual need? I particularly notice this just after exercise and I have showered etc.
Excited after Exercise

Question
Answer
You aren't imagining things. There is a link between exercise and sexual desire. For one thing, exercise increases your production of human growth hormone, which is the precursor to the production of many other hormones, including testosterone, which is closely linked to sexual desire.
Exercise also increases blood flow and circulation, which is also linked to desire. Exercise also stimulates the production of endorphins (the feel good chemicals) and helps excrete stress chemicals, which interfere with sexual desire and arousal. The bottom line is, what you are doing is working, so keep it up.
