Question

My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half. We wanted to wait to have sex until we are married, but we are in so much in love that I dont see a reason for waiting.

I know she is the one I want to give the gift of my viginity to. What should I do?


Answer

If you were completely unconflicted about having sex, you wouldn't have written to me! In other words, if you really believed on all levels that there was no reason to wait, you wouldn't have written to me or waited. You'd be in the sack right now.

So, let's trust your hesitation and hear more about it. What part of you thinks it would be better to wait? What part of her thinks it would be better to wait?

Talk to each other and lay out your thoughts--no pun intended. When you have all your thoughts and feelings out there, you will both be in a position to make the right decision for yourselves.
