I give you credit for having the courage to write me. I think the best place for you to start is by seeing a good therapist who specializes in gender issues. You will want to explore all the reasons, conscious and unconscious, for your not wanting to live in a man's body. You will want to make sure that your wish to change sex isn't due to unresolved emotional conflicts.
You can be the only person to discover what these conflicts might be. I can give you one example of an emotional conflict that could cause a man to want to be female. I knew of a man who was raised in a family with five sisters. The mother was overbearing and ran her husband and the entire show. Not surprisingly, her son found himself loathing his weak father and admiring women for their power. As an adult, he wanted to change his sex.
If I were you, I would do a thorough analysis of yourself. If after identifying and resolving all the conflicts from your early life you still feel that you want a sex change, then your next step would be to contact a sexual reassignment specialist. Such specialists are usually affiliated with university hospitals. The process of sexual reassignment is a long one and involves all kinds of interviews, psychological testing, hormonal therapy, and so on. Let me know how you make out.
