Question

Dear Doctor,

My wife and I have been married for 15 yrs and have enjoyed a monogomus relationship during that time.

My concern is that lately in the course of our lovemaking, I've started to orally engage my wife's anus. We've never shyed away from regular cunnilingus/fellatio, but seemed to kind of avoid that area in the past. I have found that I have no aversion to this act, and we both find it very enjoyable and stimulating.

My only concern: is it unhealthy? I'm not worried about STDs as we're faithful to each other. Any response would be appreciated.


Answer
The only other thing that you would want to watch for is the transmission of parasites, which are contained in fecal matter. If you are sure that your wife doesn't have parasites, and she wife washes before you practice analingus, you should be fine.
