More Than Friends

You are in a tough spot. I feel for you. While it is true that you cannot make someone feel what she doesn't feel, it is possible for you to tip the scales in your favor! 
 
Don't become discouraged. There are many people who end of falling in love with someone for whom they had no romantic feelings initially. In fact, there's a famous piece of research about a couple in which both partners report having felt no attraction to each other at first. Then they got trapped in an elevator. As a result of having been forced to spend time together, they got to know each other. Out of their connection, attraction developed and they eventually married.  Emotional connection often fuels attraction and romantic love.
 
So your job, should you choose to accept it, is to forge an emotional connection with her. Tell her how much you care about her. Tell her that it is your wish to win her heart and that you don't want to give her up. Many a man has won a woman's heart by being loyal and persistent. So go to work! Woo her. Listen to her, be attentive, be romantic. If all this doesn't kick start her heart, then I'd have to say she's dead!
