Question

I have a particular problem that has plagued me all my life. I have never heard anyone mention anything like this or had much nerve to discuss it. If it were common I'm sure there would be many jokes and stuff. I have searched the internet.

Here goes, after I ejaculate if I keep moving/stroking my penis with intercourse or masterbation, I (90% of the time) get an intense tickle in my tailbone area. A tickle that is uncomfortable, ruining the comfort of the orgasm let alone telling my partner she has to stop.

It will slowly go away with the intensity pulsating with the contractions of the orgasm. Interestingly, I sometimes get the same tickle in an elevator as it stops!

I have never liked it but now being older, I am not looking for a cure just an explanation or a conformation from someone with the same experience.

I can see why you're not laughing. A tingling tailbone is not a funny bone!

You've given me all the clues I need to diagnose what I believe is causing the tingling.

Tingling is generally associated with nerve impingement. When the spine is in any way misaligned, a person will experience a tingling sensation. The symptom is actually diagnostic of the problem.

Muscle spasms can cause or intensify a vertebral impingement. I think you're living with a chronic impingement that becomes noticeable to you when you bounce on the elevator and orgasm.

You said you're not looking for a cure just an understanding. I think you should look for a cure because any symptoms that are out of the norm are your body's way of telling you to pay attention and resolve the imbalance.

A visit to a good chiropractor is your first stop.

You will likely be advised to do stretching/strengthening exercises to support your lower back muscles so that they can keep your spine in alignment, which will end the nerve impingement and tingling.
